The roads are very slippery because of the lack of grit and salt.
I have taken a couple of pictures of what used to be my garden. 
You can just about see the bird bath in the back garden:
and the front gate is the only clue that I have a path in the front garden up to the porch. 
The heating is now off the timer and on 24/7 so heaven help up when the bills come in, but there is nothing nicer that being toasty warm watching the snow through the living room window. I am very fortunate to be able to work from home during this spell of severe weather, but I am thinking of those who have to make the trek to work. Take care everyone.
