Snow, snow and more snow

We have had snow everyday since New Years Eve. Its not really that cold just now, but boy is it deep.

The roads are very slippery because of the lack of grit and salt.

I have taken a couple of pictures of what used to be my garden.

You can just about see the bird bath in the back garden: and the front gate is the only clue that I have a path in the front garden up to the porch.

The heating is now off the timer and on 24/7 so heaven help up when the bills come in, but there is nothing nicer that being toasty warm watching the snow through the living room window. I am very fortunate to be able to work from home during this spell of severe weather, but I am thinking of those who have to make the trek to work. Take care everyone.
